seungrim-deactivated20151115 asked:
I lent my mum my copy of Stardust, forgetting that there was sexual content. This morning she confronts me saying "Missy, you are 16 years old and reading about sex?!" Anyway, should I jump into a volcano or out of a plane?
neil-gaiman answered:
I’d do your best to maintain a very straight face and tell her you have no idea what she’s talking about. Ask her to explain. Watch as she has to decide whether to jump into a volcano or out of a plane.
(The sex in Stardust is written so it’s only sex if you know what sex is. Adults get embarrassed by it, kids don’t even notice it.)

At 16? Really, people are concerned about this? Sigh.
