THIS!
Reblogging this too for folks with anxiety like myself who feel bad when they say they’re too busy but they don’t have every second accounted for doing something so they feel almost like they’re lying. Self-care goes on your schedule too, lovelies.
Oops me when I have to turn down shifts at work
Sometimes “I don’t have the time” means “I don’t want to spend the time I do have on something I don’t want to do” and that’s okay.
It’s like when you say “I don’t the money”… sometimes you really don’t, but often it’s more that the thing is not worth spending your money on and you know you’ll regret it if you do… it’s not that you don’t have any money, it’s that you don’t have money you are willing to waste.
Same goes for your time. It’s also a finite resource and you get to choose where you spend it.
